Dr. Christine Chan completed a number of tertiary degrees, starting off with a Bachelor of Oral Health in Sydney University before pursuing a Bachelor of Dental Surgery at University of Adelaide, where she was awarded the Moore Medallion for her contributions to student affairs, the university, and displaying leadership qualities. Her clinical experience led her to complete a concurrent Honours degree in the Bachelor of Science in Dentistry, securing two research grants for her project.
After working in Singapore for several years, she was accepted into and pursued a full-time postgraduate specialist training program in Prosthodontics at the National University of Singapore.
Her dental experience ranges from providing care in small towns in rural Australia to private practice in Singapore, caring for patients across a broad range of general and restorative dental needs. Her clinical experience includes restorations, pain management, extractions, denture fabrication, crown and bridge work, whitening and implant therapy.
Beyond clinical practice and research, Dr Christine had been actively involved in peer support, mentoring junior dental students through exam reviews and organising educational workshops. In Singapore, she has also contributed to community dentistry through dental screening programs and volunteer work at nursing homes.
Her clinical interests include Prosthodontics, restorative dentistry, crowns and bridges, dentures, implant dentistry, and restoring dental function and aesthetics.
