When people think of visiting the dentist, they often expect a cleaning, a check for cavities, and maybe a discussion about whitening or straightening their teeth. But what if your next dental visit could help improve your sleep, reduce your risk of heart disease, or even help your child thrive in school?
At T32 Dental Centre, we do dentistry differently. We start every patient journey with one essential treatment: the Comprehensive New Patient Exam. This isn’t just about spotting decay or recommending a product—it’s about having a thoughtful conversation about your health, your goals, and the story your mouth is telling.

What is the treatment and how does it work?
Our Comprehensive Exam is a 60-minute-deep dive into your oral and overall health. Through high-quality photographs, digital scans (when needed), and a relaxed, informative discussion, we explore not only your teeth and gums but also how your bite, breathing patterns, posture, and sleep may be influencing your health and smile. We’re not just checking boxes—we’re connecting dots.
What dental issues can it address?
We work with both children and adults, often detecting concerns that go far beyond what’s visible.
For Children: Crowded teeth, frequent grinding, or open-mouth postures may signal mouth breathing or poor tongue habits. These can affect jaw development, facial growth, sleep quality, and even emotional regulation. Mouth breathing has been linked to elevated cortisol levels (the stress hormone), inability to focus, low energy, and symptoms that mimic ADHD.
For Adults: Aesthetic concerns like chipped or worn teeth, teeth discolouration or a gummy smile often have deeper causes—such as grinding, poor sleep posture, or airway issues. We also assess for gum disease, which research now links to heart disease, diabetes, and even Alzheimer’s.And sometimes it’s the things patients don’t expect—like discovering the source of persistent bad breath just before an important job interview. Or a cracked tooth while biting into a sandwich at lunch—caused by a long-neglected dental issue that could’ve been prevented.

What can patients expect at T32 Dental Group?
Expect warmth, clarity, and genuine care. Your first visit isn’t an interrogation—it’s a conversation. We’ll show you your dental images, walk you through what we observe, and discuss what it all means for your appearance, comfort, and long-term wellness. From there, we tailor options around your priorities—whether that’s aesthetics, prevention, or peace of mind.
A smile should be more than straight and white. It should be healthy, functional, and uniquely yours. And that all begins with the right kind of first visit.
