Dr. Leo Song Jie graduated with his Bachelor in Dental Surgery degree from the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2014. Upon graduation, he started his career with the Health Promotion Board. While working with children as young as pre-schoolers on a daily basis, he picked up invaluable patient management skills and honed his ability to administer painless dentistry. Subsequently, he gained exposure to community dentistry while working in Woodlands Polyclinic, and serving as a Dental Officer In-charge in Tampines Polyclinic.
Dr. Leo’s passion for Prosthodontics led him to pursue his interest as a Dental Officer in the Prosthodontics department in National Dental Centre, where he served for more than a year. He then went on to further his training under a full-time postgraduate program, and graduated with a Master of Dental Surgery (Prosthodontics) from National University of Singapore.
Prior to joining T32, Dr. Leo served as a registrar at the National University Centre for Oral Health, Singapore (NUCOHS) and as an Assistant Professor in the Discipline of Operative Dentistry, Endodontics and Prosthodontics, Faculty of Dentistry, NUS. He currently still holds a position as an adjunct lecturer in NUS.
A strong believer in continuing education, Dr. Leo regularly attends training both locally and abroad. He is also a member of several professional bodies like the Prosthodontics Society (Singapore). He is currently serving as an Exco member in the Prosthodontics Society of Singapore.
Dr. Leo’s clinical interests include, but not limited to, Aesthetic Dentistry, Implant Dentistry, Full Mouth Rehabilitation and Dentures.
