DDS (Tennessee, USA) Dr. Shaun A. Thompson earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in the University Honors Program at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, USA. He graduated with honors and received multiple leadership awards. He went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Tennessee, College of Dentistry in Memphis. In recognition of clinical excellence, he was invited to participate in multiple advanced clinical electives as well as the College of Dentistry Senior Honors Program. While in dental school, Dr. Thompson served as president and/or executive council for several student organizations including the American Student Dental Association. Dr Thompson is a member of the American Dental Association, the Singapore Dental Association and the Aesthetic Dentistry Society of Singapore (AAED/IFED). His ability to deliver dental care in a way expatriates are familiar and feel comfortable with has added a new dimension to T32 Dental Centre. Since joining the dental team here, Dr Thompson has integrated American practice philosophies with the cutting edge facility and patient friendly atmosphere at T32 Dental Centre to create an ideal environment for the expat patient. Dr Thompson practices general dentistry with keen interests in dental aesthetics, implantology, endodontics and restorative dentistry. His home state is Tennessee in USA. He and his wife relocated to Singapore in 2009 and hope to explore Asia from this base. His recreational interests include scuba diving, flying, athletics and travel. He has enjoyed leading various humanitarian efforts with Remote Area Medical Mission and community Rescue Missions in the US, and plans to continue these efforts around Southeast Asia. | |
