Single- Stage Implant Surgery:

Single stage dental implant surgery occurs when an implant is placed directly into the jaw bone with the top of the implant sitting higher than the surface of the bone. As the head of the implant is visible the dental implant abutment can then be attached and the restoration process can take place.

This single-stage implant surgery does not require a second procedure and requires a minimum healing time of 6 to 8 weeks before implant crowns can be cemented. Single stage dental implants tend to be slightly shorter and a less painful procedure than alternative procedures.

Immediate Implant Placement:

Immediate implant placement occurs when a dental implant is placed directly into a recent extraction site.

This then allows immediate loading of a prosthetic tooth and is frequently used to reduce treatments times and preserve bone mass.

This procedure is made less invasive through the use of another surgical advancement, “Flapless Implant Surgery (key-hole surgery)”, a technique of placing implants without the need to cut the gums to expose the jawbone.
